Carter Agassi's "Pallet Portraits" are created from repurposing wooden shipping pallets to create stunning works of sustainable art. A spark of green inspiration serves a greater purpose as recycled plank panels transform into an original canvas for each painting. Her vision allows her to convey unexpected beauty in overlooked materials, showcasing the potential and value of repurposed objects. She identifies her work as industrial pop art. At 18 years old, Carter’s recycled pallet portraits were sold out at Art Basel in Miami Beach. Her raw perspective of subjects is translated in the use of distressed materials, capturing the wisdom within the imperfections of nature. The artist has created works for individual clients throughout the world. On the front of each painting, Carter randomly places her thumbprint for originality and authenticity.
